Can't see this former couple patching up their quarrel and spending any quality time together even for the sake of the child!

Love the comment about the lawyer being 'baptised' ! :o

I find her comment that he's paying his daughter 35000 a year as leaving his daughter to travel B class. It's well above average salary in London at the age of what 5?
and where does she need to travel first class? Is she booked to appear around the world?

Yes been following it. I know it's a huge sum and I'd have leapt at the original GBP15m offered but they media have really slagged Heather off. Even if she was awarded one tenth of that she'd have been lynched publicly.

Money-grabbing b!tch.

"The summary judgment stated that Ms Mills had sought £125m and been offered £15.8m by Sir Paul. "

"Speaking on the steps of the High Court - surrounded by a media scrum - Ms Mills insisted she was "very, very happy" with the decision."

If she is happy with £24 milion why was she asking for £125?!?!?!?

well according to the british golden children from the parent company I work in, who get a seemly better deal than everyone else, you don't ask you don't get.

just read the SMH version. That Heather is a whacko. Jeezus if she'd been around for half his lifetime contributing to the team work and helping generate the wealth as part of a true partnership, than I'd think a bit differently, but for fec's sake she was barely around for 5minute and feck all to do with his generation of wealth, yet think she deserved more ?!?!?!!? Show some class woman!

I can see Paul McCartney joining the marriage strike. Though in his case, it's probably too late...

Well, when quite possibly, wonder what the going rate will be for selling her memoirs of her marriage will be? As FB said 'money grabbing bitch', she won't need to claim housing benefit and live on a run down council estate.

35k for the kid does seem a bit pointless when the MGB is getting 24 million. Why bother to separate it out. Even if he has to pay until she is 18, that's less tha 1/2 a million - not worth bothering about...

The 35K doesnt include childcare and school fees. And if the parent is travelling first then the child should travel first, maybe Heather will have to travel business from now on, poor thing :D

It is a lot of money, as I lawyer I think the approach of his legal team excellent, saved him 30 million. I am not sure how the Court reached the 25m she got, usually judges look at the revenue generated during the marriage and then apportion it.
"I really love you" she said. "Is that the champagne talking" he asked. "No" she laughed. "That's me talking to the champagne"

If he has 400 million squid and he can't afford an accountant who can nullify his tax liability then he's doing something wrong...

Pre-nups don't have a leg to stand on in the UK. Whereas Ms Mills has one.

Same as in Oz sort of. pre-nups have some weight about them in court as long as there are no children. The minute children are involved the judge decides what's fair.
