I love Canadians

Post by canuck » 18th Mar, '08, 08:29

I just ordered flowers for my mom's birthday from a local shop in Gibsons BC. They didn't have the flowers I wanted on hand but made every effort to find out, and told me they will put together something beautiful for my mom and deliver it tomorrow. [smilie=party0011.gif] (yes I am worried about what they consider lovely)

I just have to say the thing I loved was, there was nary a 'no we don't have any' that is usually followed by silence expecting me to come up with an alternate plan. The man I spoke to was not even in the florist department. He spent time going to see what they have, and told me he'd take the order and be in early tomorrow and will get it sorted and sent out first thing. :D It is 5.30pm on a Sunday there.

I think I just really like good service. [smilie=meclap.gif]

I know, and had it been Vancouver or Calgary I would be very dubious, but this is a small town, and I have used them before. :D they were just so darn helpful

and yeah [smilie=langue.gif]

oh that reminds me,, so i was in a Taxi yesterday [canuck] , just kidding..

Seriously nice cabbie man, been to Canada, holy chatty scary driver,, anyway,, for anyone who wants to know, the LTA changed the pick up drop of rules in the CBD.. They still cannot stop in bus lanes or on major roads, but can pick up and drop off on side roads. So the cabby man told me, which is much more sensible. Just an FYI
