The definitive Top Ten Kid's shows of all time

Post by Burbage » 19th Mar, '08, 14:29

Fat Bob has opened a can of worms. The very idea that a list of the best children's Tv shows should omit the Clangers is anathema to me. So. Nominations please. I'll work this out as I go, but we'll end up with a poll of some kind.

Give me your five favourites for now. Here are mine:

The Clangers
The Banana Splits
Battle of the Planets
Captain Pugwash
Mr Benn

See, now I was thinking along the lines of the Top 10 Coolest Cars Featured on Children's Shows:

1) The Batmobile
2) Fred Flintstone's foot-mobile
3) Scooby's psychadelic van
4) The Banana Splits' groovy dune buggy...
A woman walked into a pub and asked the barman for a double entendre. So he gave it to her.

We didn't have TV when I was a kid -- and it wasn't THAT long ago!

Don't know if you people got Land of the Lost, with that monkey boy Chaka and those creepy Stleestacks.

"Marshall, Will and Cindy,
