Singapore Boy

Post by skank-la » 1st Jul, '13, 09:25

My son, born in Singapore, lived there till 1st Grade, just turned 13 - means its been 7 years since we left

This is life in US this summer"

3 Shows a Day 2-3 Days a Week: Hollywood Backlot Stage, Disneyland: Graduated from Weekday Shows last year to Fri/Sat/Sun this summer. He the one playing the gold/tan Dan Electro D59

Here's His Non-Disney Rock Band at a gig last weekend. He's the one singing & playing lead.

Here's his other Summer Activity Water Polo which he loves just as much as playing Rock & Roll

This is pretty much why we left Singapore when he hit 1st grade age, so many opportunities for youth back here in the USSR .My Wife & I could go back to Asia tomorrow but how could you take a young lad away from a life like this

Wife and I made a similar decision also, we'll be going back to the US in about 2 years since we think it's a better quality of life for child-raising.

Note the "we think" part, though. Opinions vary.

Yea, I don't remember that one!
Remember, Ginger Rogers did everything Fred Astaire did, but backwards and in high heels.

Yeah it's the reason we moved as well. There are just some things that are better in different countries.
