'Air Flown'
As opposed to what other kind of 'flown', exactly?
"Sebastian and I have our foie gras flown in by carpet twice weekly"..?
Cold Storage, Carrefour, all the rest of you: stop it.

There goes someone with waaaay to much time on their hands...
Although you do have a valid point. Perhaps some greener companies use carrier pigeon?

Re: 'Air Flown'
Is the company selling "AirPork" still around?
Are carrier pigeons green? I always assumed they were a kind of grey colour, but would admit to never having actually seen one

Oh, I'm a well-established pedant! The sight of the word 'forums' on the top menu causes me just a little bit of pain every time I see it. Although I reluctantly see the argument that 'forums' is apparently also acceptable in common usage.

I particularly like 'mice' as the plural for rodents, and 'mouses' as the plural for computer input devices.

Re: 'Air Flown'
You're cruel. Keep your Grocers' apostrophes to yourselves.
(I really tried joining in there by typing 'your', but I just couldn't leave it like that.)

Re: 'Air Flown'
Ha, another one. Have been moaning about this for years (and have also been tempted to go round with a pen correcting like Lynn Truss).
My un-favourites include:
"Wellness clinic" WTF!
"conducive environment". Conducive to what?

Overhead at lunchtime today a guy on his mobile phone
"My wife and I are married"
"My wife and I are married"
Re: 'Air Flown'
Seems wise to clarify. Afterall, being married out of wedlock is a serious no no
