My FB page is all of a flutter, friend in the city centre is swaying in his 11th floor hotel room and also people saying they felt it 2 hours out.

More news to follow, no doubt.

5.2 10Km SW of Moe which is about 120km se of Melbourne.

Have to admit that one was a bit scary, I was sitting on the couch with the boys watching tv and the whole place shuddered and rumbled, glasses all tinkled in the cupboards and it seemed to go on forever but really less than 30 seconds. One boy said please tell me that was just wind or something and the other just sat there wide eyed and freaked out. I was just a bit freaked out, that is the strongest tremor I have experienced, it was felt far and wide too, right across the east of the state and all across the city. Of course there was nothing on TV about it, heaven forbid they would actually have anyone there to broadcast live. Quite funny seeing pre-recorded "breaking news" which didn't manage to even mention it.

Nice shaking in Box Hill - you get a little concerned at the 20 second mark but then it stops - not sure I would like the Japanese 60 second job when the building comes down around you

Yes born and bred Box Hill boy. God it is cold and I can't tell you how much I miss waking up next door to Parkway parade and walking across to the beach in the morning and then going for a run. You got to see the Sun Rise and it was inspired and I even managed a 10k run most weeks. In box hill its a matter of forcing myself to a gym and watching Kochie on the morning show.

Think we could catch a coffee sometime

Yep, the one thing I really don't like about being back here is winter, getting up in the cold is not one of my fave pastimes. Mr PP is same as you he misses his early morning runs in Singapore, and has to force himself to do them here, although in summer he admits to doing better times.

You managed to get a 10k run most weeks? As in one hour's run? Is that all? I do 6-8 hours of exercise a week and know I should do more!

Maybe he runs every day but on most cases breaks down at 9.9k
