Bond hasn't been Bond since Connery

I believe that Sean Connery has only played James Bond twice in my lifetime. Indeed I am a young whippersnapper!

Daniel Craig is in Sydney :D Liked this snippet in the news article:

Even seven-time Bond Roger Moore has given Craig the official stamp of approval, calling him the best Bond ever.
"To me, he looks like a killer. He looks as though he knows what he's doing. I look as though I might cheat at backgammon," he said.

Oh My. And afternoon of to see the accountant, and a lucky timing to the one Gold Class sessions not full, on an offchance drop by ticket line.

Let me just say, this is my idea of what a Bond movie should be!! Am saying no more as spoilers suck. But I got to end and thought, that was almost perfect. Most pleased.

Spoilers? Anyone who hasn't seen the movie yet, and still comes onto a thread set up to chat just about that particular movie, after the movie has been on worldwide release for close to a month should only blame themselves if spoilers are present.

I enjoyed it. I thought right from the start that it wasn't going to be at the pace of the other two movies, which I also really enjoyed. It took time for me to get over fact this one did not follow the storyline looking for a Mr Colour, but when I did, I saw that the movie was not only about this one but also about the future. I also enjoyed all the references to previous movies.

This is a "must get on DVD" movie. I'll be watching it again. And again!

I loved the British references, and those nodds to the past, and choice of senior leads introducing the future. Respectful of a franchise (even one I didn't particularly like) yet moving to something fresh.

And enjoy Naomi's part. Took me about half an hour to remember she was in 28 Days Later.

I still haven't seen this and it's gone from the Gold Class cinema already :( Movies seem to show for such a short time here.

It was released in Oz on Thursday, Bob, so not been here quite a month. We're seeing it in GC next Thursday, so just won't read threads on it until after that.

My point is not when it's released. My point is that, if you haven't seen it, don't read threads on it until you do!

And if you reply to this then you know you are the problem, not the person talking about the movie!

Why is movie not in google spell-check? Why is google not in Google spell-check?

Loved it. Great movie. Perhaps not quite "Bondish" enough for me, but great movie.

Yea, I recognised her from Pirates, first thing I thought about her was "nice to see her with decent teeth" [smilie=spin.gif]
