Wimbledon 2013
Quite an opening week with Nadal, Federer, Azarenka, Sharapova, Tsonga all out in the early rounds.
At least the Great British Wimbledon weather is living to expectations!

Re: Wimbledon 2013
It's been quite a week, but I hope the next week is just as much fun! For a change it is fun to watch and not predictable.

And there goes Serena Williams!!!
Remember, Ginger Rogers did everything Fred Astaire did, but backwards and in high heels.

Superb 5 set semi-final between Djokovic and del Potro, best match of the tournament for sure. The level of tennis was just exceptional, exciting stuff!

BBC apologises for John Inverdale's gaffe over Marion Bartoli
• Presenter says French player 'was never going to be a looker'
• BBC accepts comment on radio broadcast was 'insensitive'
The Wimbledon champion Marion Bartoli said she would not let comments about her appearance by the BBC presenter John Inverdale spoil the greatest day of her life. The BBC was forced to apologise after Inverdale suggested the French player was "never going to be a looker" on Radio 5 Live, shortly after she defeated Sabine Lisicki to win the women's final on Centre Court.
On clinching the title Bartoli made a beeline for the players' box where she embraced her father and former coach, Walter. Inverdale told listeners: "Do you think Bartoli's dad told her when she was little: 'You're never going to be a looker, you'll never be a Sharapova, so you have to be scrappy and fight'? The BBC later apologised for the comments, saying: "We accept this was insensitive and for that we apologise."
Bartoli said: "It doesn't matter, honestly. I am not blonde, yes. That is a fact. Have I dreamt about having a model contract? No. I'm sorry. But have I dreamed about winning Wimbledon? Absolutely, yes. And to share this moment with my dad was absolutely amazing and I am so proud of it.
"I am sure I will be able to watch the DVD of the match over and over again and look at the picture of me when I am holding the trophy in my arms. That is the most important thing to me and not what I can do outside of the court."
Earlier Inverdale told his listeners that he poked fun at Bartoli's looks "in a nice way". He added: "She is an incredible role model for people who aren't born with all the attributes of natural athletes".
Inverdale = Idiot.

At least he didn't say "was never going to be a hooker".....
And I surprised the Men's final is allowed to continue - first shout for Murray was "I love you Andy" from a man!
