You could always add the spoiler
Spoiler: toggle
in something like this

Maybe it will be a woman this time :D

I love the fact that Dr Who has been around for 30 (?) years or so and the prospect of a new Dr is on at the bookies!

Watched it last night. It was very, very good. I have this image of Russell T Davis sitting in a room with a spliff and a laptop, saying "Right, I'm leaving. I want her in it. And them. Oooh, and him and her. And really really big guns..."

Robert Carlisle would work. Also heard John Sim mentioned.

John Sim? He was the Master though. Would confuse a lot of people!

A bit disappointed with the regeneration teaser, but otherwise a pretty solid episode.

I'm jealous.

Foxtel is just beginning to air the series following Rose's demise (and I haven't seen that episode) after showing the Runaway Bride episode about a hundred times.

Though notice Dr Who is on the ABC tonight but not sure what series I'm up for there!

So, Donna is the new Dr's assistant? And a brief flash of Rose!

Hmmm, quite like Catherine Tate in her comedy stuff but not sure about her in this one.

I'd disagree totally Jedi. Completely disapointing. Last week's episode was top top top, the best bit about this one was.....

It took us till yesterday morning to download so we watched it last night. You'll never know how difficult it was to avoid this thread and the entire BBC site, just in case it said what had happened!

Just watched the final two episodes - at long last!

Well worth the wait - both were so entertaining although the final one lost me a bit with all the techno babble and not quite sure of the relevance of bringing in some of the characters, such as Rose's Mum. Clever end to Rose's story though - not what I'd expected but loved that part.

I have to say that David Tennant wasn't my favourite to begin with but he really is a tremendous Doctor. Is he staying on with the role now - was all the talk about a new Dr just gossip then?

watched the last 2 episodes as well. Great ending. Enjoyed having Torchwood in it too. And Sarah Jane Smith - brilliant, she was part of my generation. I reckon this has been a great series, some of the going back in time ones were great, and the scary scarecrows and angels and all of those been done so well.

so well, we still have David Tennant. I quite liked him once I warmed up. I found Rose an irritating assistant, and sort of eventually warmed to Catherine Tate, but glad she's gone.

Robert Caryle would make a pretty good doctor, though he'd seem pretty short after this tall one.
