Iron Man 2
Well I like Robert Downey Jnr - the film is all a bit silly but well its another super hero story so you cant really expect much more than great effects, sexy girls and nice cars all pasted together with kick ass effects. Ok I admit it i liked it enough - worth my $8 ticket just to see the secretary in that black outfit.....

They use Thunder by ACDC in the trailers on TV. Which is also my ringtone on my phone. I've gone looking for my phone several times already.

It was really complete and utter overblown Hollywood nonsense, and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

It was great fun, totally silly and over the top. Lets hope the third one is just as good. New Mexico.....hmmmm.....

Absolutely agree.Snaffled wrote:It was really complete and utter overblown Hollywood nonsense, and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
And I can see why the movie would be fuelling a few male fantasies - Scarlett Johansson (sp?) in particular! I thought Mickey was just perfect for his role, understated menace!

Re: Iron Man 2
I thought it was a bit slow getting started, but once it got going it was fun.
Technical question: is Iron Man a super hero? I always though that super heroes had some special powers (eg Superman's ability to fly, etc), and that those without special powers (eg Batman) were costumed crimefighters. Or, given that most of them wear costumes (capes, undies on the outside, etc) anyway, are they all lumped into one group?Joseph27 wrote:...another super hero story
