I've been had

Post by Kooky » 14th Jun, '08, 07:55

I was assured it never gets below about 12C here. Well it bloody does, and people telling me, 'I've never known it so cold in my ten years here", do not help...Andrew...

Last night I wore tights for the first time in 6 years. YUK.

12? Almost tropical. It's not unusual for Canberra to go down to -9 overnight in winter.

I must admit I can't understand people feeling the cold. Realistically, although I've spent a lot of my life in warm countries, my genetic make-up is Anglo Saxon (I appreciate that may not be the correct way to describe it, Burb, but you know what I mean) and I find it very easy to revert to cold living.

Just lucky I guess...
