Would a Mac user actually own up to running Windows on their Mac?

Why would you want to run Mac OS and Windows on one machine? Seems like you need to buy two machines. Or sort out your life and use one OS. Buying a jack of all trades computer is not the way to go. I suggest you look at Dell.

Wonder if you can install Mac on a Windows-based machine?

No. Apple doesn't support windows based machines.

Do MS support Apple machines then?

Dual boot - then you can run Windows on a Mac.

Well, possibly. I now have two PCs and two Macs, though the old iBook may be on its last legs.

QA touch harsh FM. That Lin bloke managed two birdies in two attempts at the play off hole, one of them from the wilderness on the left...

Rory's learning a lot though. In the last tournament he gave it aay, this time it was taken off him.

Shot up about a hundred places in the world rankings in the last few months. What odds would you give on him winning a major before his 22nd birthday?

I highly doubt that old Macs; those that are more than 2-3 years, have dual boot option. Hence, you aren't able to switch between the two OS.

I got this one: http://www.apple.com/macbook/white/

I really liked the look of the new aluminium ones, but I must have a firewire port. In fact that's one of the principal reasons for buying a mac. I want to use it for video capture.

Having played with one, and have a mate who has tried to use one as his only computer, I would stay away from it unless it's just for show.

They are an oversized gadget, not a computer.

I use the mac for things that the mac does well, and the PC for the things that the PC does well.
